Grazie alla nazione in cui mio nonno nacque e “camminò i suoi passi”; nei suoi occhi io vidi riflesso il verde di Smith Hill, in nero del carbone e il blu del cielo dell’Alabama; nelle tono delle sue parole compresi l’emozione di chi visse in un momento storico irripetibile, nel “Far West”.

Thanks to the country where my grandfather was born , and ” walked his steps ” ; in his eyes I saw reflected the Smith Hill green, black coal and the blue sky of Alabama ; in the tone of his words including the emotion of those who lived at a unique moment in history , in the ” Far West ” .
